Conan Returns to Late Night

  • First Posted: Nov 08 2010 08:05 AM

The ousted Tonight Show host debuts his new talk show tonight.

The big redhead is back. Conan O’Brien left the airwaves in January after a highly publicized spat with NBC, which saw network executives muscle him out of his coveted Tonight Show seat so they could bring back his bland but popular predecessor Jay Leno. Under the terms of O’Brien’s settlement deal, he was given $40 million and agreed not to return to television until September. His new show, simply called Conan, will air on TBS, a network that many viewers can’t find on the dial and that is known for little else other than George Lopez’s talk show. His first guests tonight will be Seth Rogen and, according to an internet poll, Arlene Wagner, the “Nutcracker Lady.”
