The Minnesota Vikings QB is reportedly distraught that his sexting scandal has become a distraction for the team.
Brett Favre is known for drama. Sometimes it’s annoying, like when he repeatedly threatens to retire only to be coaxed back for another season. Other times it’s inspiring, like when he plays the game of his life the day after his father’s death. Last night, it was just odd. A teammate told reporters that the 41-year-old cried before the Vikings’ Monday nighter against the New York Jets as he apologized to teammates for being a distraction. Favre is currently at the centre of a sexual harassment investigation. His teary speech did nothing to inspire his team: the Vikings failed to score a single point in the first half and ultimately lost 29-20. They now fall to 1-3 on the season.
