Heidi Klum leaves Victoria’s Secret

The “head angel” bids auf wiedersehen to the lingerie company.

German supermodel Heidi Klum has been the face (and every other body part, for that matter) of Victoria’s Secret for 13 years. She’s now decided to call it quits and focus on her activewear brand as well as her lucrative career as host of Project Runway. Observers fear a power vacuum at the top of the company could lead to unrest among the world’s lingerie models, and officials are looking to quickly install either Alessandria Ambrosio or Adriana Lima as angel-in-chief. Last year Forbes listed 37-year-old Klum as one of the 15 top earning supermodels in the world. She’s worth an estimated $16 million.
