Brothel, daycare being run out of same apartment

Toronto Police have arrested two people after discovering that online ads for sex services and childcare listed the same address.

Authorities acted in time and prevented any children attending a daycare that was set up at a North Toronto apartment that also housed a brothel, police said. Two people, 27-year-old Loreto Munar and 28-year-old Mary-Jean Tatlonghari, were arrested and charged with living off the avails of prostitution, keeping a bawdy-house, and corrupting children. A 16-year-old girl was found working at the brothel, and police believe she had been forced to sell sexual services for months. The couple appeared in court on Friday and were remanded to custody.
