Only two people have come forward so far with information about a sexual assault that took place at a crowded party.

Police are looking for more witnesses in the case of a 16-year-old girl who they say was drugged and raped by several people at a rave on a rural property outside of Vancouver on Sept. 10. A group of teens witnessed the assault. Some took pictures of the incident and posted them on the internet. Police arrested a 16-year-old boy who they say captured the images. An 18-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of sexual assault. Both have yet to be charged. At a press conference yesterday, Sgt. Peter Thiessen refuted media reports that seven people raped the girl, and said he regretted police use of the term “gang rape” because it might further victimize her.
